At Macy’s I collaborated with multiple private label brands to determine seasonal colors and concepts. I created color palettes for each delivery and helped brands map out seasons to ensure there was newness and synergy both in-store and online, while maintaining clear lanes with other brands. My team worked with the fashion office to determine company-wide color messaging each season — which would then be translated to brand-right fashion messaging for each in-house brand.
For Thalia Sodi’s Holiday November 2016 delivery, it was important to include the company-wide holiday message of red, but also provide a unique fashion perspective. Leveraging red, we stayed true to the brand by including pale pink and wine in the palette.
